Workshops

Adopting story practice in your organization is a challenging move as it forces you to unlearn – or at least temporarily de-install – your acquired rhetorical reflexes. Storysmithing is not about targeted messages for stakeholders. That is rhetoric. And it works best with a captive audience. For everything else – including almost all of today’s situations – you need to earn the attention of your audience from the get-go. James and his friends have developed a series of general and specialized workshops that cover the gamut of enterprise narrative – from board-level communication and public relations to strategy, marketing and corporate learning. These workshops are intensive multi-day sessions that ideally take place outside your distracting and mundane office environment. They can also be tailored to focus on any point of the corporate lifecycle – from origin and growth to crisis, takeover, turnaround, evolution and resurrection. Workshops can also be given a particular vertical frame, from Car Stories and Software Stories to Food Stories, Service Stories and City Stories.
